You Are A Rabbit, Try Not To Die
A downloadable game
Weekend Game No. 1
(For more info on my Weekend Games, visit https://www.redsquirrelgames.co.uk/run-rabbit-run/)
You play as a small rabbit who needs to find safety after disaster strikes his home. In this text based choose your own adventure game, you need to make decisions to manage your hunger, fear & injury levels, & make it to a safe haven, wherever that may be.
Many endings to be found, many paths to take, many deaths to die.
A simple game, made in 2 days, drawing inspiration from the actual CYOA books I grew up on as a kid.
Let me know how your story ended in the comments! (Or if you find any bugs...)

I got this cute ending. No bugs yet. Didn't expect to receive it so fast. It seems you've made rabbit sounds of fear or delight etc. yourself with your own voice?
By the way if you like choice-driven stories from your childhood you should really try to play my favorite choice-driven visual novel "Angels with Scaly Wings", you'll be AMAZED by the story and its dragon characters.
Hey! First of all, thank you for playing!
The game can be short, depending on the route you take - it was a choice between long straight paths & shorter paths that could cross over each other, & I opted for the latter. Ideally I would've made it longer, but I'm restraining myself to a 2 day development cycle for these games, so I have to cut myself short sometimes. I do hope you enjoyed it regardless! There are quite a few different endings to find. And yes, I did all the SFX/Music myself. The 2 day constraint means just rolling with whatever I had time for XD
Choice driven books were always a favourite when I was a kid - I'll definitely need to check out the one you've recommended!
